BULLER TRAIL OPENS
BE SURE TO VISIT the new 2.5 mile fishing trail along the pristine water of the South Fork of the Holston River has been constructed above Buller Hatchery near Marion, Va. to provide access into the gorge, well known for its wild rainbows and browns.
After three years of planning, design and work by the Department of Game and Inland Fisheries, the US Forest Service, and METU, with support and sponsorship from the American Electric Power Foundation, the trail is open for fishing and recreation. The trail signage is below. Thanks to METU volunteers (see photos) for their help in making this resource available.
